The teenage years are so full of challenges which can become overwhelming especially with a brain that is rewiring constantly. Many young people try to cope on their own and sometimes find strategies that are more harmful than helpful.
Therapy is an opportunity for adolescents to slow down and get to know themselves. Making sense of their difficulties strengthens their sense of worth, helps regulate feelings and improve communication. My aim is to increase self-awareness and self-efficacy, develop self-confidence and resilience.
